The omega speedy pro wears quite small too.
Although it's 42mm
I think my black bay fits bigger.
Almost a week with my black bay.
Understated. No one knows or ask what it is.
Damn comfortable and it's a solid watch.
I find myself gazing at the rose gold snowflake hands at random times.
The whole faux vintage look is just right.
I am glad I made all right choices. Will only sell if I need to get something bigger but very unlikely. Haha

Happy New Year, and its been a real help. In fact, that's as close as the look on my wrist...

Is yours the Hesalite or Sapphire one? Went to have a look, and the SA only had a Sapphire one on show(for obv reasons). He said the difference is look is "purely academic", or is it worth seeing both just to be sure?

By the way, the exhibition caseback is not a must. I care more about the "look in front".

As you saw recently , one guy thought of selling his hesalite to finance a sapphire one. The key to that is to decide upfront (so you don't waste money twice). Purist or pragmatic? I'm a sucker to see backside so mine sapphire.

Just to add Omegas now are not cheap in general and they don't sell very well so do put some consideration in that. As a watch. It's sturdy and fantastic. I enjoy winding mine every morning.

I've not tried the polywatch process yet so I can't comment. But I've got OCD. Always shining my watches so I don't think I can do hesalite. Good luck

I own a nomos orion 38. The dial and finishing feels better than what I expect from a $2-3k watch (e.g. similar dress watches from oris, longines). When wind that time can tell it's not as smooth as a jaeger, but a jaeger is like 5x as ex... the shell cordovan strap supplied is thin and elegant, but eventually will give way after soaking in sweat, so I wear with a nato and ppl think it's a DW. Lol

Hahaha, actually I was settling for first hand Oris yesterday, but after out with friends they told me a good Oris will cost me 2k+ or even 3k, so why not go with something like Ball or Tudor 2nd hand. I was previously quite firm on first hand but after much thoughts I should get 2nd hand and resell it next time as most likely I'll change. ... ...

像我公司里就有一位刚满两年的电脑部门员工，刚刚出社会工作不久，几个月前就将过半的年中花红刷在一只BALL表身上。。。那可是大约过三的表款呀！他知道我是集表人，就在一次碰面时问我评价如何？我的回应是，“如果当时你还没买，我会阻止你。现在钱已经刷去了，表已经戴在你的手腕上了，说再多也没用了。”
从那时候开始两人也再没有交流了。。。

客观与主观往往是对冲的，只有极少的机会才有巧合的互相对印。

以他那3千多的预算，可以买到其他好表如，用自家芯的NOMOS。。。可惜消费者往往不会去专注细节。。。

这样的情形我早就预料到了。。。因为我通常只谈芯，不谈外表，不谈品牌。

一般人都觉得澳洲/法国Merlot较甜，但是不知道意大利Chianti才是更甜的。
一般人都只知道澳洲/法国出产最多Carbernet Sauvignon，但不留意美国的CS才是美味的。
