Hey I iust received my speedy but anyone how much does watches shop like City chain charged for removing links? Haha!

I tried removing by myself using small screw that people use for spectacles but it's very hard to even twist it, I stopped trying afraid I might scratch it :)

Thanks thanks
Bro suggest you get your own tools and screwdrivers, it is a lot of fun tinkering with the watch.. for a speedie, the best thing about it is it looks good with a large variety of straps and you'll find that you will change strap all the time..

I think with the Tudor black at prices being offered at low 3k or even high 2k at the resale market. It had diminished the attractiveness of the steinhart for me.

Yeah I am thinking of getting it from my friends dad watch shop, I also need that "block" that for stabilise the watch. By the way, the screwdriver provided by Omega is for removing the bracelet and put those straps? Is it an easy task? Haha

My humble contribution, on the way back after paying Ion Omega Boutique a visit.

Joke with the guy who helped me, very polite and let me keep install and remove the links to let me feel the difference. Also asked me how much I gotten from online (quite obvious). I didn't give him actual price but he's still shocked haha.

Unfortunately, he used the scope to see my watch, found some hairline scratches at the ring of the glass (must be me when I tried removing myself). I can see some hairline on my bracelet, wish its titanium haha!

Well you're comparing the price of a new OT500 (around S$900) against a used Tudor BB, so.... YMMV.

Yup that's my personal logic, as steinhart cost around $900 I be personally be tempted to buy perhaps two model of them the premium blue and maybe the OT500

Yet I think with the prices of Tudor stabilizing at the resale market, I personally will feel more sane to save up more for a Tudor.

Not trying to impose my logic on others but somehow seeing the price gaps closing I gave up trying to own a steinhart in lieu of future chance of acquiring a Tudor hehe
