What are your concerns with buying a watch from Amazon?

I'm looking at buying a Luminox from Amazon, waiting for price to drop.

Edit: Wanted to add, I bought a Skagon from them quite some time ago, due to their more attractive pricing. Did not encounter any issue.

My humble contribution, on the way back after paying Ion Omega Boutique a visit.

Joke with the guy who helped me, very polite and let me keep install and remove the links to let me feel the difference. Also asked me how much I gotten from online (quite obvious). I didn't give him actual price but he's still shocked haha.

Unfortunately, he used the scope to see my watch, found some hairline scratches at the ring of the glass (must be me when I tried removing myself). I can see some hairline on my bracelet, wish its titanium haha!

For me, buying from amazon is always smooth sailing, I didn't encounter any issues. The only issue is that you may not always find free international shipping as an option.

Like the Luminox watch that I want to buy, it's not available from Amazon but via a third party. So if I want to buy it, I'll have to ship it to a forwarder and ask the forwarder to ship it back to Singapore. More tedious.

I posted about this in another thread but a summary:

On the second day of usage of the Nvidia shield K1 tablet, I found out the bottom speaker is spoilt. When doing the RMA process with Nvidia, they want me to ship the tablet back to them (I have to pay for return shipping because the shipping label they give me can only be used for domestic US shipping), and they can't ship the new tablet internationally, only to my forwarder so I have to pay another fee to ship it back to Singapore. Whole process took about an hour, cos have to submit some documents online.

I chatted with the Amazon CS. Immediately after mentioning the speaker problem, the CS offered to ship me a new tablet, which I expect to receive next week. No further question asked, no need to return my current tablet. Whole process took 5 mins!

Now I have an extra tablet that I'll probably give my mum to use.

Thanks dude, Glad I checked out this thread, if not I'll be landing on a Tag.
2nd day with, really nice watch to look at, still trying to get used to no date tho.
Plus the small Omega logo in the middle always shock me thinking it is a scratch/dent haha!

Collected my titanium strap last night! Loving the look of the darker shade compared to normal SS strap. Slight lighter too although not as light as my Swatch aluminium watch.
