Hmm the Seiko lume can last for hours? I shined my Speedy for a good 20 mins with my iPhone flashlight but the lume went off after only 30mins or so... Shouldn't it last for few hours? I hope my one not a defect...

It's normal. Mine like that too. Even my rollie lume is not much better - go watch a 2hr movie and you see no lume towards the end.

Oh I see... Like this quite pointless for the lume haha! But luckily the hands is white on black dial still can see abit...

The thing is have to shine really bright light on it to see the lume, normal walking around bright places doesn't really charge it..?

Unfortunately, Speedmaster doesn't have bright lume.. If you really want bright lume, should go for dive watches instead.

But there are not many times when you view the time / watch in the dark? Maybe cuz I don't.. Haha I just let it be for my PAM and Omega Seamaster.. Though their lume are ok.

The lume on my Maurice Lacroix is terrible, though. But it's a dress watch, so I'm not bothered by it.
