All reps comes from the same few factories in China. There is no swiss made, best rep, AA rep AAA rep AAAA++***** rep. The only difference is where you got it and how much. That 1.2k rollie posted a few pages back can be bought for less than $300 in Shenzhen. :s13:
that 1.2k SubC rollie is a franken....

I love how emo you are!

Please google about open 9 and 6 date wheel except 26 for late 1680s also google about polishing of vintage sub.. maybe google can answer your queries :)

Do call out to me if you happen to see me k? There is short of interesting characters around shenton shouting around.

I wear my watch proud because I know its history :)
haha I know about closed 26 very well. Very rare, especially the ones with white background. Why don't you take another pic on 29th to see whether the 9 is open or not ;)

your plexi crystal and date magnification seems suspect as well.

I seriously suggest you (and the other bros) to do more reading on the 1680. This is a good site, but nothing beats TRF

Zonda.... I really missed your old Explorer ;)

equal_34, this is a watch thread. so people here openly share their love for watches, share the art of how the watches are being made, share their stories behind each watch purchase.
everyone here also discuss about their next watch buy, what kind of watch to buy for their wife or husband or to celebrate their next milestone

In fact, I would really love to know your story behind both red submariners... whether the dial version is Mark I-VIII, Mark II or III

It would be even better if your Red Submariner is the Super, uberly rare version with the Brown Dial

if wanna hao lian... there's the EDMW actually :s8:
bro this website can get you hard without viagra

Can we have a nano Rule to measure?!

what should be the rehaut engraving for a subC at 6 o clock?

lol I was kidding about the numbers. but the crown sits to far out, nonetheless.

The rehaut engraving should be of a J-serial number, judging there's a space in between "300 m". But I could be wrong.

Most importantly, the ceramic sports models should have a shinny rehaut, not that blurry sh!t in that no-date Sub C above. Rumour is that Rolex hires the Swiss Alps aborigines to hand polish the chapter ring rehauts due to their extra nimble fingers.

This is something new  Do you have photos of these aborigines?

so what should be the spacing between the "300" and the "m"??? 0.05917564cm?

It is very difficult and frustrating to appreciate all the recent wrist-shots and new purchases because of the replica discussions.

Can we please get back on track, please. I used the word please. :s7:

family heirloom. Lucky daddy was in business and could afford them expensive stainless steel oysters. It was expensive then, for a wristwatch which wasn't really a necessity then. They called Rolexes "Oysters" back then too. Even till today, my dad calls it the fat oyster, the gold oyster etc. LOL.

And for the record, I don't work in Changi. A different prison if you will:D
