hi Guys.. my wife has this mi-3 and wants to assign ringtone to a contact. however the ringtone became default for all other notifications (such as whatsapp, sms, etc) for the same contact. is it a bug or is there somewhere else i can check to get it to set correctly?

does anyone's Mi3 will light up for a few seconds then the ringtone comes on when someone called?

i have tried using house phone to call mysef. When house phone calls through with ringing tine, the Mi3 will light up first, then after 2secs, ringtone comes on.

that was what we did. but somehow all sms, whatsapp, etc relating to that contact number default to the selected ringtone as well. imagine sms message came in the middle of the night and a 3 min long song played.

Anybody come across this? I set calendar events from my iPad because easier to type. All events i put 2 days before to alert. But when i look at my phone it becomes 1week. So i got to change from my phone again. Tried checking settings in calendar on phone but nothing there.
