Hi anyone face this problem:

Sometimes when I type on SwiftKey I need to press v hard for the screen to register. I dunno it's lag or what.. Need to wait around 10-15 min before problem goes away.
I think this problem only happens in whatsapp but I not sure.

Any suggestions is helpful. Thanks!

Assuming that you purchased from Xiaomi Singapore, which MIUI build (in Settings->About phone) are you using? This is not the correct behaviour.

a few posts down someone complained about the screen going mad after upgrading to the latest UI, detecting touches when there were none.

That happened to me yesterday. I kept having screens pop up and apps activated even when I had the phone flat on the table.

Restarted the phone (took me a few tries cause it kept detecting a touch on the cancel button) and it became better.

Has there been a fix?

Was the phone being charged at that time?

Btw is it common to have less than 800mb out of 2gb of free ram space? Even if I clear all not even close to 2gb..

Anyone encounter "no sim card" issue on their mi3 before? How do you fix it?

The first thing to check is to see if the set is genuine in the first place.

After that, are you using the SIM adapter supplied by Xiaomi or some 3rd party ones? They may not sit well in the SIM tray.

Already checked, is genuine. I am using xiaomi and 3rd party ones. Whatever simcard I put also can't detected.
