Since when does playstore crash on RedMi?

I think a lot of FakeMi buyers are in denial...

I was playing a demo set of the Hongmi at a mobile phone shop..so that's a fake Hongmi uh

purchased a mi3 from xiaomi sg site, noticed that i cant seem to type some characters from the keyboard and have it displayed on the screen. just the last 4 characters of the keyboard, the shaded spades, hearts, clover, and diamond...anyone faced this issue as well? or is it just me :X

performed a reset on the phone and still persists

Looks like special character set is activated. Press around to get the ABC set.

Or try to change keyboard to google keyboard in settings language and input.

Of all places you should know that sim lim will never sell "fakes"

I also cannot...but play play ard just now..the icons appear....but now cannot again

those characters work in whatsapp, but not in the default messaging app, or LINE, browser, etc

Edited: Found it! Should be the stable rom, guess not the rooted rom, anyone can clarify? Thanks

I have the update yesterday.. And seem like a ota update to me as the update is around 20mb ++... The topic you link is the change log? I noticed previous version is around v8 and now is v10..

Ya correct, its the changelog from update V8 to V10. File size quite small haha.

Frequent updates is good rather than other companies slow updates and buggy software haha.

Thank you..managed to get 100% ..
I noticed when I m connected to wifi and phone screen is off..I can't received and whatsapp until I launched e App..it doesn't happen when I m on data...

Did I missed out any setting? Wifi has been set to always on during sleep..TIA

Apparently it happens on data as well after some observation just that wifi seems to be more problematic than data..the workaround I mentioned on the other thread works for me..

Strange I can receive whatsapp using wifi with no probs..send and receive
