need some help in setting the wifi to auto switch on when known SSID is in range.

Can anyone point me to the right area to set this? Can't seem to find the setting for this.

Another thing I'd like to find out about the phone is I have bought swiftkey previously. Should I installed the paid version or is there no difference between the 2?

Yes. For example, there is a display set at singtel shop at compasspoint

Ah ok. The stock Swiftkey seems a little different from the paid version. Maybe I did not turn on some of the features for the stock.

So far been using the phone for 3 days ,battery life is good and getting used to the "iphone" interface.

For the more advanced users, are we able to flash the developer ROM Mi3-WCDMA/CDMA, Version: 4.4.4 on the SG model? (found here: MIUI ROM for Xiaomi Mi3 - MIUI Downloads - MIUI Official Community) What differences are there anyway between the localized SG version and that version?

I use tasker for the job. Download from play store.

Dont think you are able to do that in phone setting.

erm...i havent try this...but correct me if i am wrong..developer rom 4.4.4 is almost the same as our current stable rom v5.0....

i feel that the battery is quite lasting, but just to be safe, i bought another spare battery from the sales that day..
too cheap to resist, waiting to receive it now lol

whatsapp you can change within whatsapp.

To add custom tones:
go music app settings turn on small file scanning then add tones from music app on selection.

To use weekly release need rom from MULTI - 4.4.4 | Unofficial International MIUI / Xiaomi Phone Support

we need to use WCDMA version if i'm not wrong.

the problem with SG version is there's no way to "revert stock recovery" atm after u flash it. i have not play with stock recovery able to support rom or not...
