My S2 LCD just died on me. First time a phone died on me!

I'm thinking of getting Mi3, with a prepaid card, from the shops later today. Hope its as good as it is mentioned here!

Go ahead and just get the Mi3 to replace your S2. It is a great phone with right price. You will not regret and in fact, you will wonder why you didnt get the Mi3 earlier

hi bros , does it take damn long to charge the mi3 ? it took at least 3 hrs to fully charge it from 20% .Using 1A output charger

I switched from note 2 and still very happy after using for weeks. Built quality, the sharpness of the screen and Miui is a big upgrade for me. Ive gotten use to the screen downgrade too. Samsung really quite cmi now i feel.

I think partly cos of the 1A charging and that the mi3 battery is quite big..

Gotten my mi3 last night with $20 top up to an existing prepaid account instead of having to buy a $15 prepaid card.
Had difficulty connecting to 3g at first, always time out, but after upgrading the os to version 14, seems like its gone. So far this phone has been impressive.
There's no warranty info in the box, do I need to register on the site for warranty to be valid

It took me less than 2hrs using samsung charger
1A charger could takes a while ...(using to charge portable batt)

Yea I read that. Didn't find any registration link so I guess keeping the receipt will be sufficient for warranty.

I went to the service centre before, as long as the sticker with your imei is there, they can check when the phone was purchased and provide service to you

I realised that the battery life quite bad and the phone gets very hot even when browsing Facebook or Instagram.

Anyone else has this problem or did I get a faulty set?

I had a long thought about the microsd slot too but I think the 16gb in built should be fine. Besides, my s2 lags tremendously whenever there is a microsd card inserted.
