Which one to pick from its China website that's suitable to use here? So many variants of them! Also, how do you guys pay for the shipment?

I don't mind settling for the 16GB model from the local site as I'm not a heavy user, but not sure if it accepts Paypal payment (but not involving credit cards since I don't have one).

Well, I was considering the 64GB one, but then unsure about the payment. SG site doesn't list any 64GB model of the Mi3.

Even for the local site, I'm not sure if I could pay with Paypal without using credit card. I'm not sure how the Paypal transaction works for Xiaomi SG. Can I transfer funds from my bank acc to Paypal acc and just pay? Or need a credit card for that?

You can top up Paypal first or use credit card
Okay that's good news to me. :D I'll hoot one soon.

Should I just get phone only or go for the bundle with case and SP included? I read from here that the SP is a fingerprint&oil magnet. :s13: But the case looks quite nice.

Do you guys find the remaining 13+GB storage adequate for normal usage?

The Mi 3 comes with Micro SIM adapter but have got a Nano SIM instead. May I know where can I find the Nano SIM Adapter?

hi guys,

just realised my camera app takes really long to focus..
also realised that some of us here have some complains about the camera..

would like to ask, if I download another camera app, will it help with the auto focus??

qoo10 or mamashop under hdb.

around $1 for 3.

you can shop around qoo10, there are alot of sellers, i bought one very slim one at $3.99, enough for me as i only want slight protection on the back, i'm a very careful user btw. most of my phones even without using accessories are all flawless when i sold it. :D

13gb is enough, taking my previous trip as an example. i have a few Youku shows around 10 episodes and few movie. 100+ songs in TTPod, 10videos that average around 200mb, and 200~300 photos i took in my 2weeks of holiday, i still left around 8gb or so. so it's definitely enough. 16gb requires you to backup to your computer (let's say) around once a month, to free up spaces.

hi, from miui forum.

Camera, Camera, Camera...
VERY poor low-light shots.
Does not focus properly in any light. Always blurred.
Slow motion does not work.
Camera app needs to be rebuilt from the ground, up.
Lenovo camera app is better with the focus, but the pictures are far too grainy.
I have seen 5MP cameras that shoot better pictures.
Come on guys, I know you can do better than this!

Try Camera360. Definitely an improvement over the stock cam app.

Turn off the stabilizer function, tho. Its redundant for the Mi3 and it slows down the picture taking as there is a 2-3 second delay before it snaps.

For video mode, have to download the mode within the Camera360 app.
