For auto screen rotation anyone know how to set only rotate portrait n landscape and not 180 upside down?

Blue Screen of Death

Hi,

Just bought the Mi3 through Qoo10.
Could not install any of the Bank's Apps and then realised its not on Kitkat (maybe that's the problem).

So tried to update and found no updater app too.
And went about checking whether its genuine.

When I pressed the volume down button and the power button.... boom.... whole screen turned blue. Is this the BSoD.

Nothing I do can off or reset the phone... Would letting the battery drain dead and then trying to on it with it plugged into electrical charge help?

Found it to be a rather good phone so pity if it is ruined in 1 week.
Any advise?

Any XiaoMi products bought outside of XiaoMi web site could be potentially a fake, highly potential.

Called and they say they no longer give charger with xiaomi mi3 cos Xiaomi never supply 3 pin chargers to them anymore... Only the early batch people got it.

1) switch off phone
2) press power button and home button together > to get the boot options
3) select "clear cache" from the list and apply
4) power on the phone

clear cache will solve the issue

is it normal that after you reboot, those google app will be reinstate back again? The app i referin to is youtube, google plus, google play and etc.

My gps also seems laggy, only when i am out in the open then detect faster, at home or inside building it seems like they can never locate me on google map or iris.

the funny part is i have to put my phone outside my window for gps to detect me. haha
