Face the same problem all the time need to keep on turn off and on the screen

anyway how to get back the menu button settings? now it brings up the multi task only

edit:// theres a way to get it back but its google mandated option to have the menu button to bring out recent apps

Faced the same prob too. But after I update it to the latest firmware, the issue became nearly non-existance..

im still using 4.9.10 and didnt bother updating to any of the newer versions. i dont experience that bug
