Thermal Interface Material for PS3 super slim

Due to this circuit breaker, I finally had some time to change the TIM compound for my ps3 super slim. Yes I still have some old games I want to play. I had a AS5 lying around, but it's more than 8 years old. Read that Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and IC Diamond 24 are better. Can anyone advice?

Grizzly Kryonaut is currently the best out there but honestly it is no more than 1-2 degrees difference from the other popular ones. Wouldn't worry if I were you.

I second this. Cheap and good indeed. While I have used both, the difference in temp vs price is quite significant, with the Kryonaut doubling the price of the MX4 while shaving off only 2 to 3 degrees more.

Noted and agreed with the fact that Thermal Grizzly does indeed cost more than double the price of MX4, however, I am willing to splurge on one as a tube of my 3.5g AS5 was used for about 10 applications during these 8 years or so.

Good choice. My MX4 dries up so fast I can see my idle temps increase in a matter of months for my GPU.

Using Kryonaut, I rarely see any increase in my idle temps on my GPU after long hours of gaming for months (during the same time period that it would take for me to see increase idle temps for the MX4).

Never looked back at the MX4.
