Thermal Throttling

Hello.. I need u guys help here. My desktop pc seems to be quite slow suddenly. Actually its been a few months since i switch it on. After i shifted house i decided to spent time again. I didnt disassemble the parts. I run HWMonitor and it stays 800Mhz no matter what application i run. I also run Asus Extreme Tuning Utility and the thermal throttling part lights up. I change my psu(since under warranty) and swap my gpu with a spare that i have lying around. Still no change. I also bought a new cpu and its still the same. Then i read somewhere to try Throttle Stop. Now it works after i untick BD PROCHOT. My apps and games run smoothly as before. I know its dangerous to disable thermal throttling so run HWMonitor everytime i use throttle stop. My gpu did not exceed 70 degrees C and cpu 72 degrees C after i played games like BF1 and Destiny 2. Thats the max so far. So the question is after i change gpu, cpu,psu the problem still persist. How do i eliminate thermal throttling? Is my mobo broken?. I am using Asus Maximus Hero VI mobo and its been nearly 5 years already. Please help. Thanks

Try remount cpu and cpu cooler and change the thermal paste.

Might magically solve the issue sometimes lol

Oh yes i forgot to add earlier. i reinstalled my Windows 10 and already reset my bios to default. I already change the cpu (that means add a new thermal paste and reset cpu heatsink)

Did you remount the CPU though? Check for bent pin while you remount

Also, don't use the Asus utility. It's rubbish. Just stick with HWMonitor or HWinfo64. Those read out are better usually. As long there don't show you thermal throttle or anywhere near 85 deg C, you're mighty fine.

Yes when i remount i already checked for bend pins. And the bios is updated to latest. If i dont use throttle stop the clock speed of cpu still maintain 800mhz in HWmonitor throughout. And its laggy when opening applications and browser. Btw thanks for all the replies guys. Still trying to figure out what happen

Just don't monitor. My Asus mobo (X370-F) have the same error too.
