i started seeing this thin green line of dead pixel on my screen about few months ago.
it's as bright as my screen goes, it goes dimmer as i dim my screen, goes brighter as i brighten the display.
I've read up online on some of the problems that's probably the causes.
either the graphic card or the display has to be changed and its not cheap.
I like to find out if anybody else on the forum has encountered this problem and how did you rectify it?
Was it a display change or just a graphic card issue?
How much did it cost to get it repaired?
My apple care has expired and i'm looking for the cheapest solution to fix the ugly green line issue
mine is a 15" late 2008 macbook pro
