HK like SG? I don't disagree, it feels more comfortable compared to a European country or Australia.

So what to do? I guess it's the same as in SG.

Shopping... Food... the normal thing that most Singaporeans enjoy.

the biggest difference is the Weather. especially in Dec to Jan, nice and cold.

if you are looking for something that is NOT like Singapore, maybe going to Aus or NZ would be more up your alley.

Go ocean park/Disney land
Go enjoy night life at lan Kwai Fong
Makan their street food
Go visit Buddha(po lin monastery) now gotch cable car, rast time is take bus

to me, I feel more or less the same. just the weather.

Here also a lot of nature to discover. but i mainly stay in the city

Actually, what I really enjoyed was traveling to Shen Zhen. it feels a bit like going to JB, things suddenly so much cheaper.

i really feel HK really like SG lei. a lot of good food, a lot of places to shop, also good stuff always have long queue.

There is this cup noodle museum at TST. Can bring them go make their own cup noodle.

Bring them to the islands like Cheung Chau or Ngong Ping 360.

Go try their dai pai dongs before it goes extinct... those traditional street ones... not those that moved to malls or markets...

Temple street night market not like pre COVID. Lot of stalls closed and didn't reopen. Less people visiting the night market. The food places are still doing ok.

Still a number of shuttered shop lots around Kowloon.

Observation from my trip last month.

HK is one of the last places in the world to return to normal life. Mandatory masking was only waived in March, and the border with China only re-opened in February. The Labour Day holidays saw a lot of visitors from the mainland. Give it some time and non-Chinese visitors will visit, encouraged by the “Hello Hong Kong” tourism campaign. Locals will reopen their businesses, though I read that the local population has declined in the past 3 years of Covid due to emigration.
