Things to do in Phuket

Flights to Phuket are one of the cheapest. but i been there like 3 times already so nothing much for me liao. Not a super big fan of beaches and party scene, bkk shld be better.

1. Visit phi phi islands; James Bond Islands
2. Watch shows Siam Niramit; Fantasea
3. Phuket Old town walkabout.

usually im not a big fan of those elephant sanctuary. However, i chanced upon Green Elephant Sanctuary Park Phuket, went unwillingly and had a great surprise. Elephants there are not chained, not performing etc. I get to interact with the elephants, feed them, BATH them etc. The elephants are well taken care of. It is not cheap, but the premium services can be felt from the moment you reach. 1) All drinks and soft drinks are free 2) dinner is included (not superb, but not shabby) 3) All photographs are taken and you will be able to get them at no extra cost (Surprisingly all photos taken by their photographers came out very well)

Hi all, I would be staying at Patong for 1 day before heading over to Phi Phi island the next day.

Is there any cost-effective way of booking both a hotel pickup transport from my Patong hotel to the pier, and then a ferry ride to Phi Phi island (it would good if there is a return way as well)? Appreciate any recommendations.

Are payments in Phuket mainly in cash or YouTrip usage is common as well?

Going for 5 days and plan to drive around.

Encountered a few time in Thailand some guy come to my car ask for street parking fee. How legit is it or are they trying to scam me? Usually drive somewhere else to park but I read Pa Tong and old Phuket parking is terrible.

Current plan is to do some snorkeling, visit some islands, Bang La party, walk around old town.
Read jetskis quite notorious scams especially in Phuket.

Is there much to do in old town and does Bang La have anything to do before the sun sets?

Any accomodation recommendations not too far from Bang La?
Thinking of staying 20-30min away east/south. Don't see too many things to do at the north side.

Hey there. Not sure about now but back in Feb I was concerned about them not accepting cash (since this is not Bangkok). So I mainly used cash - It was safer for me that way. Like taking the airport bus, the guy seems to be collecting cash only.

If u like island hopping.. Book 1 day tour from Klook. Visit James bond Island, Maya, phi phi island etc...

Else main land go big buddha. Half hill got one restaurant damed nice food n view.. Mountain Breeze restaurant.

Can go old town ssrr then phuket central festival etc then go prenium outlet.

Evening go Promthep Cape view sun set then go eat live Seafood at Rawai beach

Do Singaporean need an International Driving license when rent bike or car there or just our usual licence will do... thanks​
