Thinking of getting a U2713HM.

I picked this because of the 2560x1440 resolution.
I'm going to use it for PC and PS3/4 combo.
Is it good for gaming? (Response time wise)
My current setup for console is PS3 HDMI connect to monitor. Then the monitor audio out to speaker via audio jack.
Can I do the the same thing with U2713HM?
I'm asking this because I have a Samsung SA850, which has no HDMI and audio out port. There is no way for sound output if I connect my PS3 to this monitor.

It would be possible as it has a HDMI, Audio Out port. So, you can connect ps3/4 via hdmi and audio out to speakers. Pc would most probably be connected via DVI / DP.
