Hi guys I am clueless as to what to upgrade for my PC. What I am worried is that if I were to upgrade my GPU I will just be bottlenecking the rest of my PC.

These are my Specs:
Processor
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz
Mainboard
Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3
Graphics Card
AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
Memory
2x 4GB kingston ram DDR3 PC1333
Display
Dell SE2717H 27 inch LED Monitor
OS
Windows 7 (Service Pack 1) (64 bit)

thanks!

(1) What games (titles/genres) do you play?

(2) What's your budget?

(3) What's the exact model of your graphics card? As there are several models of GPU within the R9 200 series, e.g. 270, 280, 290, etc...

What's your budget? There's a lot of good options to get a great rig at low cost if you don't mind second hand as well...

I think Linus over at LTT did a video, and it showed that a system with just 8GB of RAM (2x 4GB for DC) is just fine for gaming, you can basically max out ingame setting IF your GPU has sufficient VRAM (where it's more important). 8GB becomes a factor only when you have too many processes running in the background or have left quite a number of Chrome tabs opened in the background. I'm testing this by removing two of my RAM sticks leaving only 8GB for my 4770K + RTX 2080 Ti rig, I've yet to encounter any slowdown or crashes when I game.
