Lol why sld i even be pissed about some1 who only chooses to see and think what he wants? Nobody is saying that Minox n proscar are the ONLY solutions available. Isnt this what the thread is about? Everybody chip in with informative and useful knowledge on treating hair loss. But rather than being informative, you come along with sweeping statements like "dont take fked up drugs" and "shave bald, go pump some weights and be a man". Tell me, how is that even considered useful?

Back to the point about these drugs working for millions. If there is a high success rate with a low side effect rate, anybody and i mean anybody will take such odds(didnt you yourself took propecia in the 1st place?). End of the day, users need to do their own research and understand the pros and cons of the drugs(or other forms of treatments for that matter). Even hair transplant is not 100% side effect free. And yes, cost is one of the obvious cons of hair transplant and not only me, but majority of people here will probably find that hair transplant is not a viable option due to the cost factor. So, go on have a good laugh at people who cant afford hair transplant. Not everybody is as elite or elitist as you(think you are). Btw, dont even need to try and make this personal by mentioning things like "too much diablo 3 and running man". I wont be bothered to take the bait and go on a verbal spar with the likes of you. Yeah....i am "shallow" like that:s13:

Lol...and again you choose to just see what u wanna see. Thanks for truncating and quoting just the 2nd part of my statement and making it seem like a different meaning altogether. But aptly enough, my statement about pumping weights fits the sentiments of alot of the so called old birds and pros that throng HnF forum "as long you dont pump weights, eat supplements, have 0% body fat, you are not a man and you are not normal." :s13: Well, thats an argument for another day.

Selling hope? Isnt meds and drugs all abt hope? Hoping to cure a ailment, hoping to make the sick feel better and hoping to fix something wrong. Are you telling me cancer patients dont take any meds at all and all they do is lie down waiting for death to come for them? Proscar is by no means a miracle drug, but it aint some fairy dust that doesnt do jack either. And funny you sld be talking about cost of the drugs when in 1st place you mentioned about the more expensive alternative that is hair transplant.

I respect that you advocate "go bald go bold" and i am happy that it works for you. Honestly, to each his own and watever works for that person. I'm gonna leave the argument at this becuz i truly see no point in continuing with something that does little to contribute to the thread.

It pretty much maintained or slow down by a good deal. I guage this by looking at my brother hair which is pretty much gone.

My two cents is dont waste time and hair trying unproven stuffs. Even if u want, build other treatments around proven stuffs.
