I have tried propecia + minoxidil for 2 weeks+ already.

No side effects whatsoever but im dropping hair like crazy nowadays! Is this normal? My vertex hair receded so badly in the past 2 weeks.

I was prescribed these meds by my CGH derma. From seeking help to worse hair now, what can i do?

Im serious when i said this but my hairline turned from I to II/III in 2 weeks.

Don't use mino. It will make your hairs drop first then regrow new hair

Actually i dun really dare to take medication.. i fear or side effects. I have been visiting a shop call Bee Choo. They have many outlets actually. And it helps! I feel my hair thicker and drops lesser. But monthly treatment is required, if not my hair starts dropping again

usually about 100 plus for consultation and minoxidil is 50 and finastaride is 50 for 30 tablets. the price plus minus abit ah. anyway u want try one pack of finastaride first? trust me their advice is generic, the key thing is whether u have side effects or not

what are the known side effects....???

What is the point of monthly treatment if the root problem has not been fixed yet ?

Just to share. I have been facing hair loss problems for more than 5 years. I have visited many treatment centres and GPs. At times, it seemed to "get better" (not sure whether psychologically) and then got worse again. I have recently been visiting this treatment centre on a colleague's recommendation and was glad that they do not need to sign a package to start. 3 weeks had passed and the amount of hair fell during each bath as got lesser and lesser miraculously. People there are nice and knowledgeable too. Will update more about my progress here in a few more weeks. Wish me luck!

After almost 6 weeks, i would like to share my amazing experience. Apart from much lesser hair loss, i've started to grow hair at the balding area! I can't remember when was the last time i felt this happy and hopeful. I think it worked for me very much. Now i'm not afraid to share that i've visited I'Ring Hair Treatment Centre somewhere at Khatib central near the NTUC. It is facing the Khatib MRT station. People there are friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, they made my hair grow again. :)

I would highly recommend a visit. From my opinion, there is certainly no harm giving them a try because they don't make customers sign a package to get treatment. You just pay for each session, but of course, will need to buy the products used for the treatment. These are quite affordable to me at least. After 6 weeks, i could say that I'm definitely a pleased customer and would continue the treatment with them diligently.

I hope people here could benefit from the experience i had. PM me if you need their contact info because i think they do not have a website. In fact, i've never seen them advertise before.

Other than medicine, are there possible supplements that could help or something?

Something like this? http://sg.iherb.com/product-reviews...rte-3-mg-with-Zinc-60-Tablets/17829/?p=1&fr=5

I personally think supplements do work if u have naturally weaker hair or thinner hair. But if u have male pattern hair loss, supplements just dont work.

Cuz i am a person whose hair grows damn fast that kind, i need to shave 2-3 times a day. But then hair on my head still drops like crazy :(

Most male pattern hair loss likely due to hair follicles that are sensitive to DHT begin to miniaturize

Thus shortening the lifespan of each hair follicle affected

Extract from Cause of Hair Loss !

Not sure about bee choo and Amy. But the person who recommended me was their customer around 30 yrs ago! I was thinking I should give them a try as they must be successful after so long in business without getting customers to sign a package and without advertising.

Thanks for your input mate

How do I know if I will need the supplements (etc the Biotin Forte) more than I need this DHL blocker?

I think mine is a situation of naturally have thinning hair.
