the package includes
1 x ALMI nano fat (fat from butt to scalp, to increase growth factor) - done in Nov
1 x Long hair FUE ( no need shave hair, they cut some hair at donor site and extract the graft out, so donor site still fully covered with long hair, receptor site is with short 1cm hair transplanted hair, total procedure about 6hr, 2600grafts. The grafts are on my front receding hairline. my top is still a bit thin but can improved with medicine) - done in Feb.
6 x PRP - going when next visit in April, slowly consume them whenever go visit
3 x PRF - going when next visit in April
3 x LED therapy - going when next visit in April

Day 1 after procedure, I go back hotel rest, it was 9pm already. Day 2 afternoon go for hair wash in the clinic and remove back bandage. Day 3 afternoon go for one more hair wash in clinic and was given some vit B, finasteride for 30 day dosage and 2 small bottle of hair serum. After that, self-wash with baby shampoo for 2 weeks. I stay in Bangkok and have fun till day 6 where i return flight, sad thing is no seafood after procedure.

For first 2 month, i expect the transplanted hair to fall eventually. 4th to 6th month will see new hair growth and best result at 12th month.

Anyone have a recommendation for aesthetic clinic or dermatologist to consult over hair loss concerns? I am seeing thinning hair at the top of my head, but not sure if it is considered serious yet and what kind of treatment or dosage to start on. Don’t really want to queue for NSC and prefer private practice. Thanks in advance.

I have confirmed hair growth going to DRX. A consult is FREE . It is painful. It also cost a lot of money. depending on the number of sessions you need. I stopped going due to cost. I think a package cost about $3-5 K you can choose how many sessions etc, Its been a long time so I don't remember well.

Steps are something like
1. Deep cleanse your hair (steam),
2. Wash your hair clean
3. then derma rolling (kinda like stamping on your scalp with a pen with needles), they used to use derma rolling then moved to pen stamping and the pen like thing has a controlled depth creating wounds) so it hurts on areas with less hair. then they spray alcohol and you feel yourself getting set ablaze. and find yourself squirming and avoiding.
4. Then "stem cells" applied
5. Sit under red laser thing and then done.

I don't recommend anyone signing up without trial. Because not everyone can stand being on fire. The less hair you have the more you will hurt. Grown men are really hurting next to me when i see them.

A single dose will have half its peak dose effect at 30 days. so the logic of using it daily, escapes us which is why for the last 23 years , we, i have been prescribing lower doses than the recommended doses because I just don't see the logic in it" - Dr. Russell Knudsen (his credentials here https://knudsen.com.au/dr-russell-knudsen/). He also was one of the doctors back in the day that participated in the minoxidil studies.

I wanted to share this because I have been to NSC and questioned the dosage that was slapped on me.
I was simply told its just what they use.

I'm female so it bothers me a lot less, dosage or frequency but i wanted to be of help as I know you guys would have "more issues" with dosage and the concept of finasteride itself!


I would like to encourage everyone to watch , subscribe The Hair Loss Show on youtube where these 2 hair transplant experts talk about every single thing on hair loss, more than you will ever learn yourself .
from Dutasteride ,Finasteride, to minoxidil to laser caps and everything else hair loss. I hope it helps as i find them very logical and really break down everything!

As for NSC the current standard is finax, there is no prescription you can just buy from guardian or watsons.
I was told it has to be from NSC from Doc as per SG guidelines.

Is it actually okay for women to take finasteride?? What are the biological effects?

Also, check out this huberman lab episode - one interesting takeaway is that topical solution actually gets into the bloodstream and in higher and harder to control amounts.

You can search "Nanofat in Androgenic Alopecia". It is an alternative to Regenera Activa. As the timeslot for the Hair Transplant is packed like 2-3months ahead. When i go consultation in Nov, he recommend the package to do the nanofat on the very day and book the HT slot in Feb which was the earliest available.

If you are keen to do the HT, go consultation early (not sure can do online or not) and book the HT surgery date first.

Depending on you are doing shaved hair and long hair type, Long hair FUE, do not cut your hair too short or else might as well do shaved hair. Many things to take not like 1 week b4 food/medicine not to eat which can found online. they will remind you a few days b4 on Line but it is a little late. 1 month after HT, no haircut.

Also take care of your health, don't fall sick before the surgery else it may be postponed. You can eat finasteride and apply Minoxidil since you need to wait for 2-3 month. Maybe stop like 2 weeks before the surgery. Also book a hotel within walking distance for at least 3 days from surgery date as you need to self-travel back after the surgery and go for next day washing. Prepare a headband for after surgery as ur head will swell.

I went back last month to do a PRP injection on the scalp as part of the package which is like a 15min thing. (take blood, extract platelet + plasma, inject in scalp). So to maximise the trip to the clinc, i do a Fractional RF microneedling and Picolaser for my face.

Yea, they told me they want consultation in-person so they ask me to make plans to go there asap. But they agree to do a video call first to discuss. From their response and your sharing, I think I will try to go ahead ASAP, esp since you mention timeslot is packed.

Incidentally, how was payment settled for your case? Is it like buying a package so you pay lumpsum in advance? Did you do credit card or bring cash for them? (asking because some other hair clinic told me they either want cash to 10% CC fee ) I will ask them during the call as well.
