ask your GP for Proscar. it is the same ingredient as Propecia except Proscar is 5mg finasteride while propecia is 1mg.

so you get a blade and cut it up into 4-5part (i cut mine in 7parts) for a 1mg dose per day. there you go, you get propecia for about quater of the price. it should cost slighty more then propecia. during those day i get from GP, it cost 90 for propecia and 112 for proscar. not sure of the market now.

Thx for ur advise.

Bro. Meaning

$112 = 1 month supply = 30 tablets
cut into 7 parts = 7 days of dosage
30 tablets times 7 parts = 210 days of dosage yeah

Anyone know any of the GPs that are quite informed on hair loss?

yes. that right. you can try to get proscar from JB. they are cheaper and do not require prescription.

it take a little practice to cut it into 7pieces. even now, someday i will only be able to cut it into 6pieces. most people cut it into 4-5pieces for the recommended dose of 1mg.

but i don't really care too much. i just take 1proscar pill per week no matter is it 6 or 7pieces. reason is simple. 0.2mg grow about 20% less hair then 1mg according to 1 study in japan. 0.2mg is a approved dosage for treating hairloss in japan. so cutting it 6-7pieces will give you a daily dose of 0.7mg - 0.8mg per day which i will say will not make much different due to diminishing return. Also missing a day or 2 will not cause too much of a impact too. it take about 1week plus to 2week for DHT serum to return to baseline after a single dose of finasteride.

dude, most GP will not carry proscar!!! just get a prescription from them and you can buy from most guardian or NTUC pharmacy. the prescription should cost you $5 or so.

for nizoral, go to mustafa shpping centre. get one brand DHA if i am not wrong. it cost $10 for a 120ml bottle. it the same thing.

Hi pal. i am doing fine. just kind of stressful lately.

i try to stay as close to the study as possible with some modification. as i don't have the patient to apply cream everyday to my scalp, i only use it EOD. it took about 15-20mins for me for the application. if you can do it everyday it might give you even better result as in the study that is how it is done. further more, generic version of the cream is pretty cheap in JB.

at night after showering, i will apply minoxidil after towel dry and wait about 10-15mins before apply the cream. for the cream, i will mix a small dab of Retin-A 0.1% to it so i save time in applying 2 different cream. it is important to apply it to a wet scalp as that is what the Japan Nizoral study did. i just hope that the Nizoral does not react with Retin-A which i don't think so from what i read.

Retin-A will increase the effect of other topical application as well as have some hair grow effect on it own right. The second study before shown that using Minoxidil 5% with Retin-A 0.01% once per day is as effective as using minoxidil 5% twice per day.

damn!!! you are the last person i want to be with in an navigation exercise. just kidding=:pyou need to ask the guys at the counter selling prescription medication. it a small counter at level 1.

oh.. $22 for a 100ml bottle. it your dough you make the choice.

it largely depend on yourself. cream is for topical application and shampoo is for... errrr... washing your hair. but let put it this way although things does not always work like this. if using shampoo version 3times per week for a duration of 5mins each time have effect against MPB, then it make sense that by putting the cream on your scalp for a few hours will have a better effect. but i must say apply cream on your scalp is a real chore. that the reason i only use the cream EOD.

i taking proscar. 1pill cut into 6-7parts. in another word, one pill per week.

topically i am using minoxidil once per day, folligen 4-5times per week and the Keto/Retin-A mix EOD although i tend to miss some application. seriously using cream on scalp is a pain in the you know where. somehow, i really do feel that keto cream work pretty decent.
