where do u buy the folligen ? and keto/retin-a cream ?

i taking proscar. 1pill cut into 6-7parts. in another word, one pill per week.

topically i am using minoxidil once per day, folligen 4-5times per week and the Keto/Retin-A mix EOD although i tend to miss some application. seriously using cream on scalp is a pain in the you know where. somehow, i really do feel that keto cream work pretty decent.

iso, so far, do you feel that oral or apply mediaction is more effective? in term of %.

60% orally medication more effective and rest 40% by the cream? shampoo not counted in this case.

damn!!! you are the last person i want to be with in an navigation exercise. just kidding=:pyou need to ask the guys at the counter selling prescription medication. it a small counter at level 1.

oh.. $22 for a 100ml bottle. it your dough you make the choice.

it largely depend on yourself. cream is for topical application and shampoo is for... errrr... washing your hair. but let put it this way although things does not always work like this. if using shampoo version 3times per week for a duration of 5mins each time have effect against MPB, then it make sense that by putting the cream on your scalp for a few hours will have a better effect. but i must say apply cream on your scalp is a real chore. that the reason i only use the cream EOD.

LOL. Went there & hollan. I went there AGAIN. Found the counter, ask the counter staff this DHA, they ask me go aisle 11a. Went there, only got those cream for muscle pain. :s22:

I went be to the counter again to look see. Saw the Nizoral, both cream and shampoon. LL Just buy the Nizoral cream 15g for $16.

Nizoral is the brand name. you can just ask for Keto cream 2% or other brand available and they can show it to you.

seriously i really have no answer for your question.

but i do "feel" there is improvement after adding keto/retin-A cream. again i have to say "feel" can be highly inaccurate and extremely unscientific so don't take it at face value.

i always like to mention MPB is a very complicated disease/illness/problem/sickness/occurence or whatever you like to call it. therefore it is necessary to use mutiple treatment approach. but one does not have to worry too much about the treatment as we really do not have that much choice:s13: consider more then 90% of the stuff in the market is worthless.

other then the 2 classic FDA approved treatment. there are only that much choice with good science behind it. select your option from those that have at least a couple of independent scientific studies publish in medical journel will be a good start. stuffs like ketoconazole, retinoic acid, spironolactone, copper peptide, flutamide, ru58841 etc etc etc. of course as common day to day people, we have to look into affordability and availability.

if you are saying the effect for hair loss, my guess is yes. there will be a different but by how much i do not know.

consider that DHT serum level drop nearly the same for 1mg VS 5mg. taking it almost everyday help to keep it stable. taking 5mg every 5-6days will create a yoyo effect although the raise will not reach pre-finaseride rate.

educational guess, i will suggest at least cut the 5mg pills into 2parts and take it once every 2-3days will be a safer bet.

Personally, maybe i am lucky or something, i never ever had even a tinge of side effect or hair dryness, but what i noticed was a cosmetic thickening of the hair after shampooing.

Oh and to counter the dryness, wash your hair with a conditioning shampoo or use a conditioner after washing.

No idea about whether it really helps to permanently thicken the hair in the long term, however i am still sticking to the big 3 for as long as i can.

it's not too hard really to work the big 3 into your routine.

This is what i do, minoxidil 5 once a day at night, propecia 1mg at night and nizoral once every 2 days.

conditioner is an good option. or you can use the minimum of 2 x per week.

lastly you can switch to Piroctone Olamine shampoo. one study show it have similar effect as Nizoral. infact slightly better:) in the study.

hey for someone who have oily scalp n MPB , any suggestions wad shampoo to take n if possible hair spray other than taking oral medication

is nizoral shampoo any good in this case? i have heard of Minoxidil but there are reports that it will cause initial shedding of hair that i m quite concern about.

i do not actually want to take oral medication/ Propecia , just dont find it comfortable having to pop the pill for yr life n changing yr hormone system.

my motive is actually to slow down the process since it cant be totally prevented/stopped :(

Hi Iso,

can you give me a list on what to buy and where to buy it and how much for those creams and pills that your taking?

TIA

*just to cite my experience because of being so despo. Pls. don't go to Beijing101, they will only eat your money. Like from time to time they will tell you that you need to renew your contract because the previous contract/treatment is not enough. i spent $$$$ and i get nothing. although you will feel there's less hair drop, clean scalp less oil, but hair growth is super slow or less.

hi all , i finally pick up my courage to go for hair transplant. The courage im talking abt is not the pain , but is "taking out the money". I would say the initial stage of waiting for the new transplanted hair to grow is painful man. But this is the fastest and most effective way if you want your hair back .

way to go sadcas3, is it convenient to let us know where did you visit for the surgery and the rates that are charged?

Well, i think you will be able to see results in a year?
