can u help me ask ur friend, what kind of drugs did his doctor inject into this scalp?

I suspect is minox + vitamins and if this is so, I think ur friend needs to go for more than 1 treatment

most likely they are using corticosteroid for alopecia areata.

not much people is willing to take minoxidil orally much less by injecting. it could have fatal reason.

there are only a few substance patient use for MPB through injection and i doubt in singapore much doctor is willing to perform it.

Hi Isopropyl

When you switched to avodart, did you see better results in a shorter time than when you were on propecia?

What was the dosage you took for avodart?

Also did you experience any shedding when you took avodart?

Thanks

Hi all,

i am suffering from hair loss about 10 years.. I am abt 30 now.
Until today, i still have doubt abt my hair loss type.

My frontal has slightly(not obvious) moving backward.
Amount of hair on the crown and vertex is lesser and lesser, not bald yet, just getting thinner.

The entire hair including side and lower back on my head become finer than before..
Whenever i pulling my hair (gently by two fingers) over my hair at side or lower back (near the neck) of my head, there is always one or two strand of hair dropped. Sometime the hair dropped is very fine, almost like a baby hair..

i know DHT does not affect these area(side and lower back)..

i still have quite a number of hair at the lower back of my head, it is just easy to pull off and become finer..

Is my type consider as the Male Patten Hair loss?

Any ideas?

Are you on any hair loss medication and for how long? Your hair loss resembles mine.

i will rather think his sport does require blood test for banned substances. finasteride have been banned due to it abilility to mask other banned substances. that a much more scientific explanation;)

Any idea where I can purchase 1% keto shampoo in sg?

2% is too harsh on my sensitive scalp. :(

Thanks

i have not saw 1% nizoral for a very long time. most likely it can't be easily found even if it still available in singapore.

why don't you try dilluting 2% keto shampoo into half with a gentle shampoo? i guess that should lessen the drying effect. kitchen sink approach:o

Hi Isopropyl

Is 3 pills per week the maximum prescribed dosage?

Why didn't increase the dosage, maybe can see some regrowth?

nope. some take up to 5pills per day. 2.5mg is the dosage used in one dut study.

as a guide line. 0.1mg of dut per day work as well as 5mg of fin daily.

a couple of reasons i only used 3pills per day. firstly i wanted to test do i react better to dut. secondly, 3pills per week is generally quite strong in term of comparing to fin so i was trying to find the minimum dosage i needed and find the minimum dose i have to consume daily. lastly as mention it due to cost:o

of course, i dropped back to fin in the end and does not have any noticeable effect on my hair.

Hi kenny

I've been on fin for abt 2 years already. In the first year, my hair thickened a bit but now into my second year, my hair has started to thin and it's thinning quite rapidly.

I think the body gets used to the fin and is now counteracting the effects; so I think I need to go on a stronger medication like dutasteride.

I also tried BJ101 in the past but it is only good for oily scalp; my case is not oily scalp so it did not help.

Do you remember how much u spent on Beijing101? and for how long?
What is ur hair loss type then? Male Pattern Hair loss?

BJ101 does not help on MPH? :(

Why dont you think of using minoxidil?

i tried minoxidil many years back, i dont remember it grew my hair but
i do remember it grew hair on my face and hand.. :o
