I think get referal from polyclinic is better :) cheaper i suspose.. I got my referal from clementi polyclinic and went to NSC for consultation before.. I think the consultation at NSC is around $70+ can pay by credit card etc.. I visited NSC.. hoping that they can advise me on hair transplant.. etc ~ then i was refer to eileen tan

All i can say is hair transplant is only suitable for receeding hairline etc.. for hair loss/thining.. err ~ i think medication and tonic will be able to help :) Singapore don't specialise in hair transplant..

things to consider for Hair transplant
1) The doctor skills
2) The scaring issues .. whether is the scar visible
3) Whether the doctor is just out for $
4) The doctor reputation for HT, even for FUE.. it's an important factor

i visited eileen tan before.. she's kinda of arrogant.. ~ i told her what i am looking for in hair transplant... in the end she told me what i SHOULD HAVE.. (i wanna to lower down my hairline, she told me she only can plant around my current HIGH hairline) which makes me feel weird.. ~ she wanna me to compromise with her skill..

for Hair Loss the following items are most useful
1) Rogaine/ Regaine foam (U.S. 4 month supply is only $135SGD)
2) Low Light Laser Treatment (iGrow (DIY at home) cost around $998SGD better then signing those 3+k package)
3) Propecia
4) Nizoral 2% / Stieprox shampoo
5) Vitamin B

for Receeding hairline
1) FUT (Hair Transplant)
2) FUT (Hair Transplant)

All the above informations are based on my results and own experience

Just wondering... if those hair treatment salons are not effective... e.g. Yun Nam, beijing 101, svenson, lao fu ye, bee choo...

Why they are opening more and more shops... and have more and more customers?

I guess it really worked for some people... but not work for some others...

browsed those testimonies...

how many think they are fake?

Yep. Will keep you all updated.

I'm now going for treatment once a week. Had my 1st treatment last sat. They applied the mask and left it for abt 10 to 15 mins then washed off. Then the lady applied an intensive serum and massaged my head for abt half hour or less. Finally is the infra-red for 10 mins. After the treatment, I do notice my hair dropping quite abit when i take a shower the next morning. Could be a shedding phase/ trauma to the scalp. But after the morning shower, the amount of hair lost during subsequent showers were lesser.

I do use their shampoo every night followed by applying their tonic to massage into my scalp. The tonic is absorbed pretty quickly by the scalp. Its the tonic that really smells like the herbal chicken soup. So its like sleeping with herbal chicken soup everynight. :/ I'll avoid using the spray in the morning before leaving for work. Its only during the past weekend when i stayed at home that i used the tonic spray in the morning and at night.

Hi , how are you?

How's your treatment?

REGENEPURE – DR Scalp Treatment

KETOCONAZOLE
Prevents and treats fungal infections of the skin, eliminates dandruff and makes hair look and feel thicker. Recent studies suggest that its anti-inflammatory properties can mend skin damage caused by male pattern alopecia, disrupt the production of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) and may even have a stimulating effect on hair growth.
SERENOA SERRULATA (SAW PALMETTO) EXTRACT
Used for its medicinal properties for centuries, Saw Palmetto extract is currently common in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy, erectile dysfunction and low sperm counts. Recent studies suggest that it may have potential as a treatment for male pattern baldness, and it has been medically approved for that purpose in Europe.
EMU OIL
An anti-inflammatory natural tissue nutrient, full of healthy omega oils that moisturize deeply, healing and rejuvenating the skin. A recent Boston University study found that emu oil “remarkably” increased the thickness of the scalp skin and awakened dormant hair follicles.
NIACIN VITAMIN B3
Promotes healthy scalp circulation and is one of the top nutritional supplements recommended for the prevention of hair loss.
CAFFEINE
Helps to stimulate the scalp and is easily absorbed by the skin. Studies have shown that it can control the effect of testosterone on the scalp, significantly increasing the growth and life cycle of hair.
PYRIDOXINE HCL (VITAMIN B6)
Shown to help inhibit the conversion of testosterone to DHT in the skin.
L-PATHENOL
Improves hair shine and moisturizes the scalp with Vitamin B5. Studies suggest that it may have additional anti-inflammatory properties.
LINOLENIC ACID
An important antioxidant that helps to stimulate the capillaries that carry blood to the hair follicles and minimizes free radical damage.
SIMMONDSIA CHINESIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL
Chemically similar to the natural oils of the scalp, jojoba helps to replace essential oils that shampoo cleansers typically remove.
ZINC OXIDE
Protects the scalp and has been clinically shown to help block the formation of DHT in the skin.

i have oily scalp.
sleep late nights and like to eat fried food.
once i went for haircut, the stylist ask if i wanted to try an oily scalp treatment
he used a machine to show me my oily scalp.
after that, he washed my hair and did the treatment
finally showed me my scalp using the same machine
looks cleaner.
tried to ask me to sign a package but i refused.

First treatment and about 30% were unclog. Sencond time the scalp looks whiter and healthier and the exfoliation really open up the follicles. Althought can use the brown sugar recipe but I not so pro. Combine with a spa treatment (sensitivity, oiliness, aged scalp and hair loss). I am at the first stage of the spa treatment(sensitivity and the oil problem). Will see how it goes till the hair loss stage.
