When hair is too dry, it drops, fall or break. Why doesn't moisturizing help.

r u using propeca or minox?

Olive oil and coconut oil only has moisturizing effect on ur hair. it has nothing with hair growth

Hi everyone!

I'm 22 this year, female. Just recently, I found out that my crown area are losing hair, exposing the scalp. This problem becomes more visible after I had my bangs hair cut.

I went to Beijing 101 to seek help. They said that my scalp pores is being block by the oil, till it's already clogged up. That's why no new hair growth. She also mentioned that, one pores can grow 3 strands of hair. Most of my pores only left one strands, while some already closed. She made me sign a package of 48 weeks, costing $7000!

Then I came across here, seeing you people also have the same problem as me, but trying other ways rather than going to those Beijing 101 / Yun Nan. Thus, I cancelled my Beijing 101 treatment.

Yesterday, I went to Watsons, I bought this Anti Hair Loss + Hair Growth Product. The brand is Anagen. The salesperson recommend me the shampoo and the essences. Both cost $160. She also recommened me Kaminomoto Hair Tonic. That costs $18 (On special offers).

I don't know whether these will help me not, but I hope I will see some improvments. Any one heard or tried ANAGEN? Any females suffering the same problem as me? Please do share

disagree that propecia causes low libido..have been using it and i see and feel no difference in my libido, its still high as ever..unless i have super high libido to begin with.

Studies using propecia and a placebo has shown that the same number of people (5%) stated that they experienced a drop in libido. In other words, this libido thing is probably just psychological, they think there is a drop in their libido even though they were given a placebo (a fake propecia).

yes. i know about cold laser treatment and even organise a few mass order on 6 x 5mw @ 650mn laser brush. the general feeling of those users is it does nothing much. although in the end i didn't really use it regularly. there is a period of time when people are crazy over laser and build laser device amount to hundreds of laser dioide. the reveiw is rather mix and the dust has settled with nothing much going on now even with many die-hard fans of laser treatment.

and there is no such thing as a cure of man balding problem yet. even as a treatment, laser is not approve by FDA as many have been misled into believing by company benefit from it sales. sorry for having to say that but looking at all your post it seem you are link to sales of laser product therefore i do doubt your intention here.

again i have to apologize. to be frank, i trust those so call "TCM hair loss cure" as much as drinking Rod Stewart's juice will cure hairloss problem. think lao fo ye and beijing 101. trust me. if it does, it will be reported all over BBC, ABC, CNA or whatever you can think of. curing hairloss is BIG NEWS you know

Not using the other one that lowers libido (actually also not that I got lotsa chance to use the libido lol); I only use minoxidil and use the mildest of shampoo - Johnson's & Johnson's Baby Shampoo. Seems to be under control so far

mprince008 : Coconut oil -> Mustafa. one bottle $1 or $2. Just a drop or two is enough each time. Usually i rub on my palm till warm before apply.

Olive conditioner - Khiels is rather good. Most conditioner make hair fall faster but I was recommended this by a colleague. It work miracle. Abit expensive. If you can get in oversea DFS, it is cheaper. SG-> 38 for 200ML. SG Airport -> 33

I saw many posts here abt hair loss treatment. Costs too much money. Plus you are not guaranteed abt the results after treatment. Now I am following my brother. Using Rogaine, at least, it does not cost too much and it still helps.

Just realised Pregaine Shampoo contains sodium laureth sulphate..Ironically,it states that it's a mild shampoo. -_-

just go to polyclinic, ask for referral to National Skin Centre for thinning hair problem.

The specialist at NSC will give you medicine and shampoo to take/use. But this will be long term.. until the day you give up on your thinning hair.
