While nothing can be done about aging, this is a common cause of thinning hair. It doesn't only affect men. Extremely thinning hair can be traumatic for women who have always enjoyed thick locks. Choosing different styling methods and hairstyles are both effective ways to camouflage thin hair. Styling should be gentle. This includes using the right tools and accessories, gentle cleansers and fewer chemical treatments. If thinning is around the hairline, you may choose styles that cover this area.

Hair loss might be due to harsh hair products.

Use organic hair products that is suitable for urself. Eliminate all hair styling products such as wax, gel. Do not colour or dye hair.

Do not dye, use too much hair products such as wax/clay/gel, do not wear a hat/cap too much, do notuse a hairband, stop eating too much food with msg, try not to wash your hair more than 5 times a week for your case, unless your scalp is really oily.

products that might help:
organic products,
hair tonic,
redken intrafroce,
redken scalp intraforce

Hello, im not sure whats your scalp condition like. I have small pimples on my scalp previously, causing some hair loss.

I use to use polytar liquid for my pimples on scalp. It helps abit.
My derm offered me a selenium sulfide shampoo and it also helps to control but i went off it after i recover.

After that i tried commercial shampoos again and the pimples will reoccur on and off. Now i m using the giovanni tea tree triple threat, totally eliminate scalp pimples.

And yes, cut down / eliminate totally on wax / gel etc. And do not wear caps / hats as often.

Hi pple, Im 24 this year and i've started noticing receding hair lines since 1-2 yrs back..

Been trying lots of ways to stop it or rather slowing it down until im older in the 30s.. including using hair loss shampoo or even going down Yun Nan for treatment.. but seems like its not even slowing down and my hair continues thining..

Im now thinking of trying medcine such as minoxidil but am unsure where to get it in singapore.. And would it be recommended to see a doc for this problem? Thanks for any advice!
