I tried nintype and don't like it.
The visual effects drain battery.
It also does not offer next word prediction.
SwiftKey still the best.

You can off it actually... Or rather minimise the FX.

Anyway I still waiting for SOUNDS. haha... Why no sounds eh!

LOL

there is actually, you'll have to enable it in the settings. ( i believe it's under Shortcuts > Flick Autocomplete Options )
the FX can be turned off.
it's called zen mode.

My mistake. Thanks for highlighting. I manage to enable the next word prediction now. The next word suggestions are not shown on top bar like swiftkey so need time to get use to it. will try this for few days to see if this can replace swiftkey. I hope to replace swiftkey with nintype so no need to grant full access to 3rd party keyboard.

I think its not the third part developers fault. Its Apple which needs to step up their API implementation. its pretty bad at the moment…

Lets hope iOS 9 would bring about more improvements.

I love TouchPal. It has been updated with Chinese input. So can change between English and Chinese, and other languages, by swiping left or right on the space bar.

Oh touchpal have Chinese already? That's cool. I wish fleksy and nintype starts Chinese too....market is so huge for Chinese input.
Swiftkey has been doing beta Chinese input like forever ...

Yes for a couple of weeks already. With emoticons embedded in the keyboard, it is an all in one keyboard

I tried Touchpad on android last time... I didn't like their prediction. Not as good as Swift and Fleksy.

I can live without Chinese on Nintype but I really want the sounds! haha.

any issues like crash or stuff?

Like any 3rd party keyboards... The keyboard failed to load sometimes.

SwiftKey got a bug in creating contact.

Go and try to create a new contact and try keying the name. Then backspace. It will jump to the next line

Using nintype since yesterday, with zen mode enabled. Battery usage for last 24 hiurs is 21%. Never have this battery issue with swiftkey. Anyone know if turn off retina resolution will help?

hmm, all third party keyboard has the chance to crash.
give the free ones a try. the crash rate is more or less the same :( I would say it's Apple's fault :s13:
i have faced numerous occurrences of 3rd party keyboards crashing, some of the worst ones comes from the GIF keyboards
