Fanco fans sucks. Best is Elmark.

My elmark fan from the previous owner still damn powerful, replaced the original speed controller with continuous variable speed controller from Schneider electric and all is good.

Big area like living room with 3 walls and extended dinner area the ceiling fan not giving the sloshing wind effect.Need a stand fan to compliment.

The old model which got wire attached one, the wind very strong le.. My parent house has it.. So I tot new model will good also..

Best is air con and have versatile doors like sliding to trap air
Dyson fan will be useless in open spaces too

Bought this with 6 speed worst than my old Fanco with 3 speed.Itching backside me change a working one to a slower one.
More speed doesn't mean stronger.
This one only look rustic and nice looking.Better to go for 5 blades.

me have been using Fanco for the past 3 yrs or so .. air circulation is more than what me could have asked for
at speed max. of 3, it serves its purpose very well

i noe just ask aircon guy come install aircon in living room .. if needed.

else use stand fan..
i also complement with "DC" stand fan.

Not wire.Is a small beaded chain to regulate the speed control.Only 3 speed but powerful.More than 18 yrs still working for me,no noise.
