Yes. According to reports, sample counts are not new. Except that they will now be officially published on the Election Dept's website starting this election.

My only concern is that if there is ever a situation where the sample count shows a close opposition win which later turns out to be a PAP win, I can just see all the accusations that will start flying in this forum about how the PAP cheated, how the results were doctored and what have you. Such is the mentality of many here.

And years from now, many will still be griping and spreading falsehood about how the PAP had cheated, "Remember GE2015, ... ... bla bla bla".
