Are you gonna SLI with the Z87 or just for the Intel Smart Response Technology? if it is the latter, i think H87 boards can do it as well..

Since ur processor is not K series no point getting a z87 board

Not sure if you are connecting in Raid? And since you are not using an unlocked processor, it is best to go for H will do.

Actually I chose Z87 because of lake tiny.
Will not be doing SLI or RAID.

I did a google search, there are not much information and reviews about lake tiny..

You probably cannot feel any difference. If you want your ssd to be well optimized might as well just top up a good $10-$20 more for a faster ssd. Tiny lake cant help much.

Use the SSD as a standalone drive. SRT will make it boot about as fast as a HDD since your OS files are in your HDD instead. The SSD only works as a cache.

Just take the Asrock h87m pro. Most value H board out there.

I believe after afew boots, it will performance as fast as an SSD

your build seems decent. Maybe too much storage though. Maybe you can consider a fast SSD 128GB and 2-3TB WD Black?
