Not all friends are worth taking out my Miracle for, even if they want to talk, I'll just take one side out for courtesy.

I would only get take both out and keep it for some.

Would only take out one side. Unless they are gonna talk a lot I would pause my music but the earphones will still be hanging on my ear. (using over ear design)

Well, kind of the same logic when people use their phones when conversing with you. I encounter it a lot in Polytechnic, where gatherings or socialising just involves people using their phones instead of living in the moment, enjoying each other's company.

Only some friends are worth putting in effort.
