the game is free, the devs dont earn any money from ppl playing the game
they only earn from sales of bananas
if the devs buy their own bananas, they are losing money since they only get 10% of the sales.

How the game works.

U click click click the banana, and it drops a marketplace item for u which u can sell for real money.
The common ones are only worth 3 cents.
But rare ones can sell for alot more

there are many many ways to cash out from steam.

I used to sell games to other players thru steam when i had alot of money in steam last time.
Basically they pay me $ via bank transfer/paynow, and i buy games for them using my steam credit and giving them discounts.
This is one of the ways but there are other ways as well.

In some countries, u can even buy steam decks using the money in steam wallet and sell the steam deck
