You can watch仙逆。 The main char is Stylo. The music is nice. The pace is just nice not draggy



For people who sian of the 仙侠anime and the constant power up scene, can watch 诡秘之主。it has a twitch of the depressing scene and the plots are quite well written.

Not sure about the video but as a novel 诡秘之主 was an nice and interesting departure from the usual Chinese fantasy novels so much so it is one of the few titles that I actually recognize/remember even though I finished reading it many years back.

I'm watching this rn at 30+ epi, but this MC just keep powering up .. also don't know how he learnt all those difficult skills so fast, etc.. and 结丹初期 can fight with injured 化神 lmao..
i think 凡人修仙传 more realistic..

Not sure about the video but as a novel 诡秘之主 was an nice and interesting departure from the usual Chinese fantasy novels so much so it is one of the few titles that I actually recognize/remember even though I finished reading it many years back.

The first few episodes of 诡秘之主was quite fast paced, which I guess was due to the budget issue. But later it gets better. Episode 13 which is the last episode of the clown arc was actually quite well done.

About the novel, agreed that it is unlike the usually Chinese immortal fantasy novel storyline which is all about levelling up. There are quite a lot of mind twisting plots in the story as we can see the mind battle between the main char and his rival the one piece glasses guy. Also as we go deeper, can sense the loneliness of the main char as he was forced to get stronger so not to get killed and save his tarot club members. But no one know that he did all the fighting. for people who are interested to read the novel, you can also listen to the 有声小说 .
You can treat it as bedtime stories


I am now at the beginning part of the second book 宿命之环。but I feel that somehow it wasn't as well written as the first book. But I am only at the beginning chapter so reading through to see if it gets better later on.

凡人修仙传 is my favorite of all the China Anime series. I have also listened to the book. Some of my other preferred china anime that I watched in the past:

The first few episodes of 诡秘之主was quite fast paced, which I guess was due to the budget issue. But later it gets better. Episode 13 which is the last episode of the clown arc was actually quite well done.

I feel the 宿命之环 beginning and ending is very boring. Only the middle part operation that got involve the tarot club members is interesting. The MC not very likeable and interesting. The female lead is more of a MC than main MC.

hmm, guess that the writer cuttlefish run out of idea for his second book liao. no wonder he don't want to write the third book. The first book was his epic piece where all the characters are developed very well with very descriptive inner thoughts and voice. Even the side character development are also well plotted. The magic mirror and his side kick“达列治” are quite funny, adding a funny favour to the novel. I feel that the main char Klein resembled alot of us in real life, whereby we are forced by circumstances to work very hard without a choice and only we ourselves know how much we have suffered and the loneliness felt throughout our whole life. In the end, we have no choice but to slumber into emptiness and darkness.

Not sure for whatever reason but cuttlefish seems to be quite reluctant to write about tarot club members in the sequel which disappoint and frustrate many fans and lots of criticisms. So he won't write sequels anymore.

I think that normally writer will not be willingly to write sequel and also rewired back to the original char in his earlier sequel as it would be very hard to patch up the char development and remember the contents which he has written so many years ago. In most of other novel sequel, the writers would write a new world and create new char for development instead of dwelling on their earlier books and patch up their content.

I normally like novel with a funny twist as it would not be so boring. perhaps if you have time, can also look at 第一序列and 一念永恒。The main char are quite funny unlike the normal修仙novels.

剑来is also another quite likeable anime in China. although it is quite hard to understand what it is about as the story start. some like it and some find it confusing.

I normally like novel with a funny twist as it would not be so boring. perhaps if you have time, can also look at 第一序列and 一念永恒。The main char are quite funny unlike the normal修仙novels.
