Thoughts on Legion Tower 5 (AMD)

Hi! I am planning on buying a PC for 1080P and 144Hz gaming. I play games like LOL, Battlefield V and GTA.
Do you guys think that Lenovo's Legion Tower 5 (AMD) will be a good option? I am planning to customise it as such:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Memory: 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) UDIMM DDR4 3200MHz
MOBO: AMD Vermeer B550
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
SSD: 512 GB M.2 2280 SSD NVMe, TLC
HDD: 1 TB 7200 HDD 3.5"
PSU: 650W Adapter
Cooler: 150W Cooler Airflow ARGB
Price: 2.1k SGD
Monitor for 1080p: +300SGD

Or I might for for 1440P 144Hz gaming with these customised:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 3070
Price: 2.5k SGD
Monitor for 1440p: + 459SGD
All other parts will be the same as the 1080p build.

I want to ask if you guys think this PC builds are okay and if they are then would you guys spend about 600SGD more for a better build?
Or should I wait for GPUs to restock and also for prices to fall and then build my own PC? I want this PC to last longgggg like maybe 8-10 years

not very attractive price for the 3060 build. dreamcore and aftershock have a similar config sans the 1tb hdd for 1.8k. the 3070 build seems more reasonable, but keep in mind that for both u may have to deal with proprietary oem parts that generally arent as high quality as diy parts and have limited upgradeability.

This better avoid please, even if get lower tier card.. next time at least don't need headache and swap out all these useless OEM part that is causing problem.

Pick some high quality parts, then in future just change GPU.. don't need to headache so much.

Since you want to be keeping this rig for a long time, should go for 5800x since it has faster single core speed and can push whatever GPU you equip harder. Besides, you are targeting 140FPS and every little % becomes more prominent.

For me at least, my target framerate for game is min 140FPS, everything just look more fluid no matter the genre.

Some of those OEM stuff makes it impossible to upgrade one with your budget especially since you only play on 1080p I personally prefer to get from local SI.

In fact you should try go SLS see if can get good deal since you buying whole PC and again your budget is q high for 1080p I feel.

If it was me I would
No time/lazy - buy whatever is the best your budget can get from aftershock or similar company
Got time - go down SLS get quotes then come back compare, look up which stores people recommend but usually people recommend that 2-3 store one, I personally have little experience so it's probably better for the veterans to advice you on that.

My 2 cents,

@1440p,
most games are GPU bound, save on CPU ( 2 more cores won't help) , spend more on GPU
Unless you are also running productivty task, then by all means go 3700x

@1080p,
5600x will help you get closer to 144hz than either 3600 or 3700x
