So after extensive research and advice from gurus out here, i have decided on this:

Case - Realan H60
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pr...l?spm=2114.12010609.8148355.18.2ee840f8tEi1PI

PSU - Realan LR1108 150w
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Rea...?spm=a2g0s.13010108.99999999.8.7eb0321eJB1JN3

Brick - Realan 120W
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pr...513.html?spm=2114.12010608.0.0.4b595ffbRsiQgv

Mobo - Asrock J4105
https://www.newegg.com/global/sg/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157806&ignorebbr=1

2x4GB SODIMM ram
1xSSD 128gb (Reuse)
1x2tb HDD

triple monitor setup

Think it will be ok?

quick question - i found on lazada cheaper pricing for the pico psu and brick.
psu - https://www.lazada.sg/products/160w...42.searchlist.list.27.62ea353dURALQ1&search=1

brick - https://www.lazada.sg/products/womd...o42.searchlist.list.1.42ee4d73sgxopf&search=1

would it make sense to buy the psu and brick from lazada even though they seems to be generic over aliexpress Realan?

Just get something like this. Inwin Chopin, comes with a decent 150W 80+ Bronze PSU

There are some things you should never cheap out on, PSU is one of them

For your requirements the Realan powerboard + adapter is more than enough.

I doubt you will even hit 30W full load. Plenty of headroom regardless of PSU quality.

but tbh whats the usage/purpose of such pc?

Over the years, I have built high end computer to medium and to low end.
With each project, I realized that I keep downgrading my hardware pieces as I feel that my usage on the computer is really minimal.

I spent my time doing research, surfing, watching video. that's pretty much about it. I do occasionally use adobe and MS office products but even so, I don't forsee myself using a graphic card for any gaming.

I could always opts for using a ipad or something. But I cant do without the ease of access of multi screen, excel, word and whatever a computer can do, an ipad cant.

Same here. The problem was that years ago in the days of <1Ghz speed and hard drives, the performance of budget builds were really wait and wait and wait. But once CPU hit >1Ghz and SSDs are readily available, even the most budget build was no difference from hi end builds when all you are doing is MS Office, web browsing and etc.

You are absolutely right to go the minimal size and power consumption build. :)

Sadly too many here happy happy recommend dunno what i5 CPU and GTX 1060 GPUs to people who doesn't need them. Just go to the thread where someone is asking for the same as you + able to play DOTA2. Of course your build isn't good for that but a minimal improvement to a Ryzen APU would do for that thread.

thanks for the vote of confidence.

I did consider about the ryzen. But sadly, it couldn't power triple monitor as compared to asrock j4105/j5005. Then there is cost difference and TDP.

I think I will just go for inwin chopin and j4105.

Are you sure?

On the page of Asrock AB350M motherboard... it say it does?

https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M Pro4/index.asp

Of coz if you don't do any gaming, I think the cost saving and TDP make more sense.
