Are there any ADs who would actually follow the waiting/ interest list? Even if the wait is 5 years, are there any ADs who would actually call customers on interest list?

I’ve been to countless ADs to place my interest for just a datejust still no response.

I’ve been to one AD today which I shall not name and I said I wanted to put name in interest list. He took out a paper and asked me to fill in my particulars. After I left the shop, he crumpled the paper and put it in his pocket.

Think I have to go grey just to get my datejust.

DJ just go grey or carousel find la. The premium is maybe 1k+ thereabouts for popular dial. Save your agony of going around asking for it.

Yeah. Like trade in + top up a few k and get back almost the same watch. So.. forget it lor.

If really wanna spend $$, might as well add another watch to what I already have..

Just go grey. However you look at it, it makes sense given the current situation.

There is value in having the watch on your wrist. That value far exceeds you sitting at home *hoping* someone will give you a call.

Unless you’re really in no hurry, don’t care whether you have it or not, then you can slowly wait.

I’m on many lists, both locally and overseas, since 2016. Haven’t got a call yet.

I went grey in 2017 and never regretted it 1 second.

Pre ceramic Rolex days were far easier.

Rolex wear on hand, can make a person more healthy, more muscular, more intelligent?
Why fall into the entrapment?

true. I will only sell if i upgrade. no point stainless steel getting another stainless steel. upgrade to white gold or gold or another brand ( gold or whote gold price will be stagnant since steel watch is way overpriced now).

i sold off 2 sports model watches that had been sitting in my safe for a tidy profit and bought a used PP. Is it worth it? I am not sure, but at least i know i had a upgrade in brand and PP price will most likely be strong.

how much is the friendship price you'd gotten haha.

was having a hard time between rubber and SS but go with rubber in the end.

it's pretty light on the wrist and most importantly it's thin compared to rolex sports series with SS bracelet,

no idea about those with oysterflex.

rolex and patek different game

lol
for someone getting multiple Rolex professional models a year, a 5167A is not difficult la. Maybe need to get another Patek before the 5167, but let's assume it's a 5196 it's still worth it than getting grey. But if it's a 5968A then it's truly more difficult haha.

unless the SA has no Patek.
