Not don’t make profits but your post suggest grey dealers make more profits than AD and this has became a hot topic in this forum previously.

not sure what kind of profit ADs making but i guess depend on how much gray market selling the watches
eg if rolex factory sell every rolex to ADs at 70% of retail price, ADs make 30%
but if gray dealers get these at retail price and resell at more than 30%, then they make more than ADs
eg a submariner ND say 12700 retail now, say rolex sell 70% price to ADs, ie 8900, AD make 3800
say the gray dealer buy at 12700 and resell at 19k, gray dealer earn 6300, almost double of AD

So you intend to buy the FM Rabbit watch? I visiting my AD this weekend too. Haha

update on this..

I saw it.. still considering whether to buy (just for supporting if I really buy). The strap + case are not as “powerful” as Casablanca’s; #FR2’s strap is something like velcro type & its case is reinforced carbon.

Casablanca has a stainless steel + leather strap & unique cache to lock it..

The junior told me that a lot of people booked too!!!

This month GMT arrival (Pepsi, Batman, Sprite, Rootbeer) will be low, almost nothing (for those waiting for a GMT allocation and definitely nothing for me). Although overall they are hopeful of more sports models arrival for 2023, compared to 2022. No news yet of the decision whether they would participate in the CPO initiative (still seems unlikely). For Patek, the wait to get a Complication has lengthen, especially the SS models (this is for those wanting to start journey for a SS Aquanaut). Hmmm, that’s almost about it, nothing much more. She was very busy at the boutique today, so chit chat a bit, tried on couple of watches and then I asked to add on Starbucks into my interest list before leaving.
Oh yeah, these days the kids are really wealthy. Saw a young guy bought a watch to journey for another Rolex. Around 21-22 years old at most, clad in Christian Dior outfit from head to toe and wearing a Nautilus. 😆

I added it too bro.. sub date green correct? The ad says “just to ask management”. But if i want the black sub date, then they have… 🤷🏿‍♂️🤔

I did add the Starbucks (Sub Green) but was both clear that this is not the priority for now and my immediate priority is the GMT Lefty (Sprite). Are you getting the FM and then asking for the Sub Green? I thought shouldn’t be difficult for your SA to get a Sub Green for you with a FM purchase

This is based on assumptions which are difficult for me to understand. How would they be able to buy at 12.7k? They are most likely to buy at 16-17k from flippers, and sell for maybe 2k more, but they also have overheads and need to take risks. If they are able to get bundles under the table, they also will need to buy other watches and take a loss. Unless you know of any other scenarios?

Logically how is grey buying at retail possible exactly? If they source from private sellers it will be at market price and grey earns a margin. If they source from AD directly it will be via some sort of bundle. Why would any party sell to grey at RRP?

I see ppl bringing ADs out for makan, but haven’t seen angbaos yet. Sounds like it can still be culture appropriate but maybe subjective
So far I have not heard of people bringing AD out for makan. B to B sales then more common to see this kind of entertainment

They sell you rolex at retail when you buy their unpopular watches eg tudor, you take this Rolex flip at gray dealer who in turn sell for obscene profit?😊

I understand now, you are just here to troll on grey dealers and have nothing meaningful to discuss or valuable to share. Say what you want then, shall ignore you, lol.
