my first Rolex purchase from grey market, after pondering for close to 6months. opted for the classic sub no date 114060 instead of 41mm datejust fluted bezel. used to find the sub clunky but I learnt it was because the links do not fit snugly onto my wrist. When it is snug, it was so comfortable and I actually like the heft.

haha!!! Mai sio hai me lah bro… I meant I want to try asking AD to give these to me.. but I doubt so..
But I saw resellers like Fine time, their display set like Sprite or Pepsi comes with stickers with it. I wonder is it “originally” from AD or grey sellers have a set of stickers specially for themselves to stick onto these watches

i am sure grey dealers have original factory stickers to paste and sell you fully stickered for $100 more. i think grey dealer rather sell your rx8 and earn more

from time to time, there are ADs that backdoor to grey dealers because they buy in bulk, clearing their inventory that normal consumers doesn't wanna pay retail for. normal, not just for rolex, for all major brands.
this is how it works then, now maybe less so.
sometimes customer got lucky with AD that could care less.

So guys… I was “supposedly” in line to get the old Panda but due to the discontinuation of it, I now gotta wait longer for the newer model to be made available.

How true is that?

I was lucky because Feb usually a high spending month for me. Wife got 2 watches that month

Black steel Daytona was my 1st watch this year after 4 months no allocation

I think he build up quite substantial accumulated spending history over the last 2-3 years and so can be allocated the panda. if the 2 ladies DJ is the only spending, very unlikely he can be allocated the Panda just for that

Your SA is very good, takes good care of you.
A Godzilla and a Panda within space of 4-5 months regardless of what you buy to get it is considered quite good already.

Not sure but I know I had been buying whatever I want non rolex to be allocated. If you are talking about daytona then no way even if you want buy how many 1+1 they will tell you help you allocate but not 100%. My models are not head turner types.

Ya that fitment is Damn bad.
41mm also cannot fit. I think 36mm explorer is a perfect size for those wrist
