Can spin it into teaching the son how to be “thankful and respectful” 😂
I feel the father is not teaching the son the right values. Fancy inculcating the value of apple polishing to get watches which he has to pay real money to get it to his child. The child might get confused

Getting a rolex for a kid. How lucky the kid is. But value is kinda wrong.

Get a casio. A swatch first for him to get into watch first. Tell time. Etc.

At 21 ord lor. Okay. Heres your rolex...

Huh? The watch is for the kid and not for himself? Then the kid should thank the father and not uncle Max. Kid must feel really confused. Father gave him a watch and he was asked to thank another uncle instead. Doesn’t make sense

Agree. I got a 6694 around 18 from my late grandfather. Well-worn condition 😂 and it’s what started my interest in watches. Prior to that, never wore a watch cuz I found it leceh on my arm, maybe cuz I was a kid so more sensitive, but always enamoured by grandfather’s collection. Then at 21, got a 16710 Pepsi from my parents.

Sama sama.. parents able to buy for themselves ($3k plus 40 years ago) but when I was young, my family not so ideal. Have to buy it myself but have a very sense of achievement.. level unlock… 😂

It could be a common watch where everyone is able to purchase easily & wear/carry it often but due to its pricy tag and hard to get, I find myself buay pai already…
