No ah I not YouTuber 😂
The YouTuber is another guy who sets up a youtube channel to do watch reviews. He sometimes post on the Facebook group too. His reviews not bad, as in, quite smooth and well articulated

First Rolex after contemplating getting one for the longest time. Was considering the 114060 and 124060 as well. The former feels good but looks bulky due to the lugs (echoed by many others) and I'm not a fan of the wider bracelet on the new Subs. People says it wears smaller but to me it wears larger than 114060.

Ultimately I decided to read up on Sub's history and the 14060M made me fall in love with it. Jangly hollow links but it gives a very vintage watch feels haha. Can summarise the 14060M as the classic modern watch.

Nice piece to collect, used to have 1 & if not mistaken it was the transition between 14060 and 114060.

is the courier company not afraid that one don't pay the gst if they bill after
in my case. both times was FedEx. they billed me before they release item. I think that time gst was less than 1k.
strangely for the more expensive tax of 5k plus.. they actually only billed me few weeks after releasing the watch to me.. for a moment I was happily thinking maybe the dealer did not put in the real invoice that's y I wasn't charged any taxes only to be disappointed few weeks later.

I rem we were talking about some Patek ADs making customers get a complications and then can get an aquanaut (if your SA has enough influence and rapport with you). After that, what would the subsequent mileage be like? How would it be like to get another aquanaut, or even a nautilus? Need to keep buying other Patek pieces before further allocation, and what’s the expected number/quantum?

I have not gone beyond the first Complication and still waiting for my 5167A. Hence have not discussed further with my SA what happens next to get a second Aquanaut. However, what I do know from previous conversations is that a direct purchase of a Grand Complication can get you an allocation of Nautilus. I’m not sure if two purchases of Complications can get you the Nautilus. It might, or it might not. Anyway these requirements is not static and can change from time to time without prior notice. So best if you ask your PP SA about it as last year a purchase of Grand Complication can get you Nautilus but it’s been quite a while and who knows if the “rules“ might have changed.

Ah I see. Hope you get ur 5167a soon! Were you given a timeline to expect? It sounds like a good deal to get 4947/1a and then get allocated a 5167a. It also doesn’t sound bad to get a grand comp (provided it’s the more entry level ones) to get a nautilus (also depends on which). And understand it keeps changing, so am curious to know what it is now, although it won’t always hold true

My dealer friend said one of his customer bought and sold him a cartier santos skeleton at a 40k loss as he bought it for PP allocation. Dunno how true leh. I thought PP watches count towards allocation?

From my understanding, at multi brand AD, will need to start the PP journey first, but along the way other watches also count towards allocation. Especially since it’s not possible to keep having PP to buy to add towards purchase history
