Lovely goals!

Just curious, for the AD u r going to, do u have to buy those unattainable watches if u want to buy all this popular models?

My friend told me for emperor, after he got a sub date (bought DJ ladies and 1 tudor), he need to buy more watches if he wants a 2nd sports model i.e. pepsi.

Why close shop after attaining these?? Still so many more options, collection can still change ma
It should take some years to acquire these and I feel that I should be pretty satisfied with the collection by then and no real desire to add more. Haha

Thank you. i guess we all know by now that customers can’t expect to buy just one unpopular watch and then be allocated unlimited popular time pieces.
I bought only one Hublot Classic Fusion Ceramic so far in the journey that maybe considered “unpopular” and that was in early 2021. The rest that I bought to build profile such as Azzuro Blue DJ isn’t exactly considered “unwanted” or “undesirable” models. I feel Its about time that I support my SA who had treated me well with another THG exclusive model purchase after 2 years plus to go further (I think high chance I should be allowed allocation of 2 Rolex pieces if I purchase that THG exclusive model later this year). But slight change in approach is that for the THG exclusive model that I’m going to purchase, it should still be something that I reasonably like and might keep for a while (not something I feel that I will buy and then offload in a few months)

Nautilus? Minute repeater? Day date?
Yep, that’s why I put Daydate under “a bonus if it comes”, as that one only require to put my name and wait and no need to bundle. However, these days RG, WG, YG Daydate 40 are all very rare at the ADs, maybe 2 years only come 1 piece. And if that 1 piece comes, they will have to submit names for THG exco to pick who they want to sell the watch to (it may not necessarily be me who will get the nod). And I also want to highlight that if customer buy more THG exclusive models, it increases their chances of getting the approval from THG exco for the hard to come by PM Rolex models. Put it this way, 3 persons if their name is on RG Olive Green Daydate, who would they sell it to? To the person who only bought 1 unpopular model or the customers that bought 2, 3 or more? They will check the purchase history of the customers to decide who they want to sell such models to.

Minute repeater no way. That one only very rich people who have owned at least 9-10 pieces of PP will be allowed the chance to buy and even then, the approval of who they will sell the Minute repeater to have to come from PP Geneva HQ. They are mostly at least 400k or higher in price.

I feel the bar for Nautilus is a bit too high for me to reach as well. Not thinking about it at this point. 😅

I see. I think u got a very logical approach. The only thing is watch lovers aren’t exactly logical hahaha. Maybe new models will change your mind haha.

Haha not me la but it can be aspirational, maybe one day crypto 10x or hit lottery lol
lol i rather buy property using that kind of stupid money

minute repeater no value + nobody buys if you want to sell. those who have money to access such watches, already have access directly for them. unless yours is 1/1

THG exclusive brands are brands which sells in Singapore only through THG and not any other ADs nor do they sell direct. Eg Hublot, Girard Perregaux, Ulysee Nardin, Urwerk. I dunno what exclusive brands Cortina carries except Franck Muller. Other bros maybe able to advise you

Agree, me thinks Minute Repeater are for people who is so rich that they already have multiple properties and maybe bungalows and no where else to spend their money. Perhaps people raking in millions per annum in income. A working professional even at VP Level will probably not splurge that money on MR
