they have sports model in their safe, just a matter of how u can make them bring it out

ADs can’t sell at market price? Such as above retail?
Remember back then ADs did have the practice of selling at premium......though premium back then wasn’t as crazy

From my understanding AD cannot sell at market price. They must sell at the price listed in Rolex website.

Which means all this waiting list and interest list are all ********. Then what’s the point of the listed price on website when even ADs are not selling them.

But I will only buy if I know got sports watch for me to purchase mah

Very simple. Just go down with your uncle and auntie or whoever, and pick out those less popular models you are willing to purchase. If the total amount can be 100k or at least close to it, I believe there is a good chance they will pull out a sports model from the back for you to purchase.

I think even this is difficult... most if not all sports Rolex are pre-committed, with each watch tied to an approved customer.

Best bet is to buy $100,000 of watches, and seek application approval from there.
If can spend over 100k .. might as well go grey already.... why spend so much with AD with watches you don’t like, just to get the watch you like?
Shoot once, and forever keep silence...🤫

I didn’t spend so much but I travel a lot in the last 3 yrs and manage to snag one. This is also luck, you gotta just keep looking.... who knows..

Well, it's not a crime to buy watches you like, but happen not to be "investment" grade, to reach $100+K in a few years.

For example, one each of Omega, JLC, Cartier, Panerai, Zenith, IWC should bring you quite close to $60K without a single Rolex. Add a UN or FPJ and you should be darn close to $100K, and I dare say that with such a collection, it's one that many would be envious of (me included).

And then, add your favourite Daytona or Aquanaut...

The problem is that most people are not serious collectors, and just go after the watches that are "in demand". Why should Sincere/Cortina/THG cater to you, the "I only want one watch that is trading at twice retail"?

While I freely admit that I'm after the Daytona as well, I'm fine with not having the Daytona as my first watch, and building up my collection slowly with the OP36 and so on.

Just pay the premium, get it from grey market and move on. No point spending 100k on stuff you do not want just to get a batgirl. Even if u sell them to offset you still lose much more than the premium you are paying.

Ya I agree. 100k can choose almost any sports model (with premium)

Everyone got too excited with the 100k.

If u read OP, he seems to be suggesting he do “group buy”, ie broker different people who want to buy non-popular models to make up $100k one-time purchase and he reap the benefit of getting his <insert hot shot rolex sports model> at retail along with that deal.

But expert gx with that sort of purchase history also say bo bao... so...

time peepur buy datejust where will go online and make such a big fuss...now buy datejust only will go online make a big deal out of it to help teh AD advertise in hope of getting recognised and rewarded by allowing them to buy a sports model....

Lolex veri smart make every customer becum “influencer” in teh process of advertising their product

Very tempted. But no money. Lol

My Wife say no need buy brand new, so we went the pre-owned route and gotten this dial and model instead.

Bought 1 year plus back for $4000.
