Lol, those that you named are the understated pieces by rolex not everyone wants to be showy by owning subs/Daytona etc

Haha yes they are good looking pieces in their own right too. Just saying seldom ppl get them. I like explorer 1 though, looks versatile and can take a beating.

Beside dial, the bracelet is also difference. WG is oyster whereas ss is jubliee

People will also think white gold looks almost the same as stainless steel, why pay such a difference for something so similar lol

Just like ss pepsi vs wg pepsi, the difference in outlook is only the dial. But the price difference is almost 40k. Though once you wear it, the feel is totally different.

milgauss, airking... just try your luck call and you might be lucky. the interest list for these are almost zero.

Try lucky plaza, watch palace... i remembered they have on sale...

dont think its easy for a milgauss.

some waited for pretty long to no avail.

Any shop to recommend for selling and buying Rolex pre-owned? Thinking of selling my explorer 1 and Tudor chronotime. Many thanks.

Can’t believe all the oysterflex daytona no 50k no talk in the grey market, it happened just within 3 months. I’m speechless, crazy secondary market out there. I’m totally priced out

most shops will just tell u verbally.

watches exchange hands so frequently of cos they would want the watch to keep returning for authentication.

u buy a watch, go there authenticate. - 1 fee.
u sell the watch also go there authenticate. - fee.
the buyer that buys from u down the road sell off the watch go there authenticate - 1 fee.

one watch probably authenticated numerous times by that watch shop.

True.
One qns, for a same model watch( eg. 2012 vs 2016 ) does it make sense to buy the 2012 at a cheaper 1k or so pricing, provided condition is good? The difference is only maybe the 2012 due for servicing sooner. Which cost ard there also.

it all really depends on u. some wants up to date stuffs, some dont mind slightly older and cheaper. to me the year of the watch doesn't matter as long its priced accordingly and the deal is reasonable.

the older the watch the cheaper it gets. when u go for authentication, they pop the backside and check u can ask if any servicing required anytime soon.

i bought a year 2005 sea dweller last year, owner told me no servicing done before, still working fine and the shop who authenticated also told me can just wear first, still looks okay the movement.

I see your post before saying u went TH to auth. So they will open the case and check, can also ask if any servicing needed soon?
Do TH do light polishing/touch up?
