Hi, you might have mistaken. I'm not talking or referring to anyone in general. I'm sharing my experience when i referred people from this forum to my SE.

let's move forward and make this forum an info-exchange thread for watch lovers like us :o

Look, don judge others based on the people you have encountered. I alr phrased my qn v appropriately - 1. Am not asking anyone to help me get an allocation. Like what most say, who will do that given that the price diff bw grey and recommended price
2. I alr mentioned build purchase history. I nver say I want to buy a sub or a Daytona as a first purchase thru ur SE.

Legit customer for ur SE also won’t reach him. Alr pre-judged by you.

While I think there is no harm asking, the more important question is which Rolex you're looking at.

Maybe don’t aim too high, a datejust 41mm. Although I heard datejust now also very coveted , need wait, but I’m patient not very urgent. i owned a few rollies via grey market b4, just hope to get one under my name and keep/wear for myself.

DJ41 is not very difficult to get. it is just that the supply is very very limited, and there are many permutation/designs for the DJ (from the bezel, to the dial to the bracelet). Maybe that is the reason sometime you find that outlets don't carry the design you want.

For DJ, i suggest you try Marina Sq/Ion/RWS where they only carry Rolex exclusively. Also you can try watch palace.

Yes, it varies on the design you want. DJ is a humble model, although still sought-after but ain't so ridiculous like pro models. My colleague put his name for the blue dial with fluted and he waited 2ish mths, he sibei heng to collect just days before the **. FYI, he got it from the Hilton store.

Whilst my very humble DJ, black dial with smooth bezel...put name 17 Oct, call came on 22 Oct. 5 days of waiting. :s13:

But just to share with u after my leg work experience; MS, Vivo, all stores in orchard are on waiting list, their story abt the stock status is like cut n paste when u enquire abt it until u can memorize. Anyway, I got mine at MBS. Good luck!!

I want to try and get a SS fluted DJ41 blue dial either with diamond setting or not. Should I go for grey or wait list instead? Gonna wear it for long and not gonna flip it since I like the design.

What’s your advice?

DJ41 in blue or black quite hot but surely less demand den sports series...
sure have to wait a little..

Just asking for opinion, not a Rolex model.

Wanna ask the new snoopy omega around $14k, if can get at retail is it worth it?

Definitely worth. But chances of getting it at retail is practically 0. The queue for it is insane. Omega will probably allocate it to their vip first.

It's not a limited edition though. Maybe if wait long enough can try. But how long is a big question.

If you can get retail, you struck jackpot liao.... the grey pricing is going to reach daytona hype. so easily sell at 1.5X or 2X (if lucky)

Its going to be the same logic as the Rolex Daytona, its a standard production... but the waiting list is crazyyyyyyy
