However, this is just an official statement that is being put out. This is not how big businesses work. Tiffany in NYC is like all other businesses they are profit driven and they have super top tier clients around the world. Why would they just limit to the US?
They would definitely allocate out pieces around the world to ask other outlets to entice their Super VIPS, of course not every one with $2 million spend will be offered especially if you have no spending history, as they need to ensure that the watches they give will be to people that have been buying alot from them and after the 5711 will continue to buy alot from them
Hence as I said they are offering to Super VIPs and they will entice them by making them commit $2 million or even more to get a chance at allocation
Your mentioned that they were all allocated before release, this is SA say to make us commoners dont bother them. Sure they would pre allocate to certain people, but the bulk remaining, tiffany will definitely use to entice their VIPS to booster their profits, why bother allocating if they cannot guarantee sales/profit
