I do agree Cartier is a jeweller. Like Mont Blanc is a pen maker. But I bought a Mont Blanc leather wallet haha. Actually quite good leh, very sturdy. As good as my previous Braun, if not better. Haha.
My Ang Moh collegues do like Cartier quite a fair bit. One ang moh superior was looking for a gold Santos for herself. I heard another friend tell me that Cartier's watches are actually quite highly valued in Europe.
I think the Santos 100 will be my next watch. Hopefully it can stand the test of time, like the Exp I. But its gonna be a tough fight with the Exp I, esp since the latter is endorsed by Takuya Kimura in 2 top rated shows, Love Gen and the pilot show! Crystal apple!
BTW when u guys wear Rolex, do you also try and dress up a bit? And do you try and get accessories to match your watch? On my Rolex days (I try not to wear it more than 3x per week, so as to subject it to less wear and tear), I wear my tailored long sleeves, carry my expensive briefcase and wax my hair haha. I find myself looking for stuffs to complement my watch; I saw this gold ring with a gigantic blue sapphire that is the exact same blue as my blue sub in Poh Heng. But its like 160k. Darn. U guys buy anything to complement ur Lolek?
