just check with the ADs...and go for the latest DJ with the new bracelet...nicer...
DJ can pick dial and bracelet...go to AD and select the combination you like...

the new series also come with new dial...diff with the old one...front post khimwoon bought the new series for 5.8k rite...last 2yrs i check the old price for DJ after discount like 5.2k...think $600 diff ba...

any way..Rolex is phasing out the older DJ for the new series...once they clear all the old stock...what choice we have...or want go for 2nd hand..

I am a newbie to the world of rolex watches, din knw there is such a thread on rolex till i made a search thru the search engine.

Anyone can advises hw much is a Rolex Air-King nw? I saw it in the showrrom and i like it very much though its only a entry-level model but din ask the price tat day... Any seniors can advise on this? I will be looking forward for advice from all the fellow forum members. Thanks in advance!

Airking is the entry/one of the cheapest model of Rolex..but the lower price doesn't mean Airking is inferior...the Rolex quality is there...

Airking is using the same casing as Rolex Date 34mm, 2mm samller than the Datejust 36mm..the latest model number for Airking is 14000M...
14000M Airking is using the same Caliber 3130 as Explorer I, Sub non-date...the older mdoel Airking is 14000 using Caliber 3000(14000 stop production around 2001)...Rolex replaced the caliber 3000 with newer, improved 3130 and added 'M' behide the model number of the watches(Airking, Explorer I, Sub non-date) using the caliber...
Airking dont have the COSC certification and no date...
last 2yrs old price for Airking i know is 4.1K after e 15% discount...think now is close to 5K after discount...for actual price..you may check with the AD..this model can get discount easily...

the down side of Airking is...resale value not so good(as compare to DJ), no date, no COSC...

my advise..if you budget can..go for the Datejust...but $$ is is in your hand..up to you to decide which to buy…

this one looks really uncle...if u are looking along this kinda of classic looking rolex, perhaps u should go for datejust, with mother of pearl and diamonds dial coupled with white gold bezel and the new jubilee chain. totally slick...

was checking out the half gold version of the pix, think its rrp is around $13k - $15k...

for Oyster Pro..ADs usually limited stock..all depend what rolex allocate to them......likely they will clear the old stock 1st...you can check before you buy...

I urgently yr advise here as you are a knowledgeable rolex siao...

My Auntie is selling this watch to me at $2000/- which is ard my budget which she bought from AD for $4100 in Yr 2001 -never worn before cos it was a meant for my uncle and suan suan they got divorced not long after the purchase...

She had been keeping it ever since 2001...Confrim brand new as i had assessed the watch liao with box and warranty card...Do you think it is a good buy? and is it suitable for a guy like me (25 yrs old) I like it actually and view it as a classic watch instead, but on the other hand scad plp say" wow lau why u wear ah pek watch"? Ha...ha....
